Q: Should I thread, wax or tweeze?
MYNC’s expert stylists can achieve beautiful results with all three methods of hair removal, or a combination of methods. During your consultation, your stylist will map your brow shape to confirm the look that works best for you and advise on the appropriate hair removal method. Whichever method you choose, your Highbrow shaping service will always incorporate tweezing to skillfully shape the arch of your brow. We recommend booking a Highbrow service every 3-4 weeks to maintain your look. Our Highbrow Club and Highbrow Club + Tint memberships make it easy to stick with a regular maintenance routine and save money while doing so.
Not familiar with threading? Threading is a popular hair removal method that uses cotton threads to effectively remove hair and create a precise shape. When performed by a professionally-trained MYNC stylist, threading is safe and effective.
Brow Lamination FAQs
Q: What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is a brow styling service that uses a gentle solution to set eyebrow hairs in place to create a full, beautifully defined brow shape. You can combine your Brow Lamination service with a Brow Tint to add colour and impact. When properly maintained, Brow Lamination lasts up to 6 to 8 weeks.
Q: Is Brow Lamination safe?
Absolutely! What’s more, MYNC’s Brow Lamination solution contains Keratin ingredients to strengthen hair.
Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please use an oil-free cleanser to remove all eye makeup before you arrive. Avoid using sunscreen or moisturizer near the brow area. If you wear contact lenses, please swap them for glasses or bring a contact lens case so you can remove your contacts before your appointment. (Don’t worry – if you forget your lens case, you can purchase one when you arrive.)
Q: How do I take care of my Brow Lamination service?
For the first 24 hours, avoid steam, sweat or intense heat. Then, use oil free makeup and makeup removers/cleansers, and avoid waterproof makeup. Use our brow serum to help nourish your brows.
Membership FAQs:
Q: Are memberships transferable?
No, membership are not transferable – they can only be used by the individual who purchases them.
No matter which method you select, MYNC stylists solely use tweezers to skillfully shape the arch of the brow. Tried, tested & true, tweezing offers hair-by-hair precision. Thread or wax is then used to clear away surrounding fuzzies. And just like that, you’re polished and confident!
Q: Can I freeze or cancel my membership?
Yes, you can temporarily freeze or permanently cancel your membership by emailing the location at which you purchased it at least 7 days before your next billing cycle. Unused benefits may be redeemed for up to 60 days from when the benefit was acquired, after which time the benefit expires.
Q: What happens if I miss a month?
Any unused benefit you’ve earned may be used within 60 days from the date the benefit was acquired.
